Sanctuary on The Holy Mountain
About 5 km from our hotel, the Sanctuary on Holy Mountain is a true gem of Baroque architecture. Located on a hill with a beautiful view of the surrounding area, it attracts pilgrims and tourists from all over Poland. The church, built between 1675 and 1698, impresses with its richly decorated interior, frescoes and gilding. It is worth paying attention to the miraculous painting of Our Lady of Święta Góra, which is the destination of numerous pilgrimages. Around the sanctuary there is a park, ideal for a peaceful walk.

The Car Museum in Gostyń is a treat for motoring enthusiasts. It houses an impressive collection of vintage vehicles, from pre-war cars to classics from the 1960s and 1970s. Each exhibit has its own story, which you can learn about thanks to detailed descriptions and guides. The museum also organises themed temporary exhibitions and events that attract motoring enthusiasts from all over the country.
Gostyń Regional Museum
The Gostyń Regional Museum is a place where you can learn about the history and culture of the region. The museum is housed in the historic building of the former town hall and presents a rich collection of archaeological, ethnographic and historical artefacts. Permanent and temporary exhibitions showcase the everyday life of the inhabitants of Gostyń over the centuries, and numerous exhibits provide a better understanding of local traditions and customs.
Museum of Carpentry and Biskupizna in Krobia
The Museum of Carpentry and Biskupizna in Krobia consists of a total of six buildings, apart from the former furniture factory, where you can see machines, tools and carpenters' workstations from that period. One of the main elements is the Bishop's Chamber – a room dedicated to the traditions of the Krobia region and its surroundings. Adjacent to the museum buildings is a small orchard with a dendrological path created for educational purposes as an element showing the inseparable connection between carpentry and trees. The museum is supervised by Marek Hałas. If you want to visit the museum in Krobia, it is worth making an appointment with the supervisor.
St. Margaret's Church
St. Margaret's Church is the oldest Gothic building in Gostyń, dating back to the 14th century. Its imposing structure, retaining its original Gothic features, is enriched with Baroque elements. The interior of the church impresses with rich furnishings, including a valuable painting of the Virgin Mary with Child, a work of the Flemish school from around 1683. It is worth paying attention to the stalls from different periods: late Gothic from 1514 and late Renaissance from the 17th century. The church courtyard, surrounded by an 18th-century wall, adds to the unique charm of this place.
Jewish cemetery in Gostyń
The Jewish cemetery in Gostyń is a place full of history and reflection. Established in the 19th century, it bears witness to the presence and activities of the Jewish community in the region. Despite the destruction wrought during World War II, the cemetery has preserved many gravestones, which are a valuable source of information about the former inhabitants of Gostyń.
Soplicowo Film Museum
In the heart of Greater Poland, in the picturesque village of Cichowo, there is an extraordinary place that transports visitors straight into the world of literature and film.
